CAD ENGINEER
We need to get an engineer on contract or a consultant who can help us build the FDS for MEXICO project.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for taking conceptual design ideas and turning them into reality, adhering to budget constraints, production capabilities, and functionality requirements.
The job typically entails:
- Developing detailed design models for process step wise in discussion with the development team / software engineers / plc engineers / production team and designing team
- Assessing the usability, environmental impact, and safety of a design.
- Calculating and simulating the concept
- Collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to integrate the design and enhance product specifications and build the functional design specification for the client as per the complete unit PFD / PIDs
- Adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Documenting design processes and creating reports for project stakeholders and write a complete functional design specification covering the cycle of operations from start to end
- Guiding the transition from conceptual design to production.
- Follow and ensure that we are having the FDS as per industry technology and methods.
Education Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in a field relevant to the specific industry – for example, mechanical, electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools and technologies.
- Additional certifications related to specialized areas like Six Sigma, project management, or other targeted training programs that supplement an engineer’s skills may be beneficial.
